Hi Craig,

Actually, the pendant has always looked like that. I think it was made by a bunch of hippies out of clay. Something simple to give the kids...

It's been sitting in a box all these years.

cheers,

Ingrid

Thanks for the interesting article; wasn't aware of the pendants from years ago. Also, thanks for the photos as its always nice to see what's being written about- the pendant certainly has aged!
Regards,
Craig Copland

I work at a Staples Copy Center and people routinely (literally) forget $20 worth on copy cards in the machine or laying on the counter. Assuming that out of 1800 stores nationwide, every day a customer leaves just one dollar on one card, annually the company will bank $657,000 for doing nothing except instituting a completely user unfriendly system. I'm sure they are making much more than that, though.

NOT HAPPY WITH STAPLES ATAL.BOUGHT A CARTRIDGE THAT WAS ONLY 20% FULL OF INK, TOOK IT BACK FOR A REFUND, WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND, ONLY CREDIT ON SOMETHING ELSE I WOULD BUY. NOW I WAS SOON SET TO BUY A NEW COMPUTER,BUT IF THEY ACTED THAT WAY WITH A CARTRIDGE IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITH A LARGER ITEM. STAPLES YOU HAVE JUST LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER, DO NOT LIKE THE WAY YOU DO BUSINESS.

re: Scndinavia's proportional vote counting system:
I sent an e-mail with just that question to our knowledgable relative Per. He is currently working on his thesis and will reply when his stresslevel drops, he says. So, I'm patiently waiting. L/M aka Barbro.

I just voted. What a great idea! I also checked out how many votes were cast where. The amount of votes in some cases reflects the access to the internet and computers in the respetive region, I think. Look at Finland with 22,000 +votes cast. (They manufacture Nokia, you know). Even Seychelles registered, 4 votes I think. Hopefully Sweden will up their lagging 7,000+ in the next 2 days. Denmark showed 10,000+, Norway about 7,000 also, me thinks. Good luck to the world and power to those who care! L/M aka Barbro
